Haridwar Tour Package from Hyderabad
Haridwar Tour Package from Hyderabad: Long-Weekend Itinerary, Non-Stop Flight & Rishikesh Plan
Planned and reviewed by Govind Bisht, Operations, SnazzyTrips | Last updated: 28 October 2026
From Hyderabad, Haridwar is now a long-weekend trip. IndiGo’s non-stop flight from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to Dehradun takes about two and a half hours, landing late morning, and the evening return flight gets you home by night. Take one or two days off around a weekend, and you can see the Ganga Aarti, the Haridwar temples and Rishikesh without spending days on the road.
There is still no direct train from Hyderabad to Haridwar, though a twice-weekly Secunderabad–Haridwar train has been proposed. For now, flying is the practical way. This package is planned around the flight times: one night in Haridwar for the aarti and the main temples, then two nights in Rishikesh with Neelkanth Mahadev, an optional rafting morning, and a final quiet visit to Vashishta Gufa before your flight home.

🚆 Is a Direct Train Coming?
Rail options from Hyderabad
Hyderabad currently has no direct train to Haridwar. South Central Railway has proposed a new twice-weekly superfast, the Telangana Sampark Kranti, between Secunderabad and Haridwar, but it is still under review. Until then, rail travellers take a train from Secunderabad to Delhi and change to a Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi or Vande Bharat to Haridwar, which takes about 1.5–2 days each way, too long for a weekend trip.
